[Case Study of Problem Solving] Changing Blinds to Shoji Doors
Introducing examples of shoji doors with reinforced washi paper. We solve your concerns about fixtures and furniture.
We will introduce examples of how we solve our customers' problems through photos. The request was to find a way to look outside partially, as opening the blinds would reveal everything. In response, we proposed shoji doors covered with reinforced washi paper, which is four times stronger than regular washi and does not require replacement. The shoji features small squares arranged in double layers, allowing the front small shoji to be moved up and down, enabling views outside at preferred intervals. Since there was only a window frame, we added aluminum rails at the top and bottom to allow for smooth movement with rollers.
